Ahmad Maslan replaces Annuar Musa as BN secretary-general

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan has been appointed to replace Tan Sri Annuar Musa as the secretary-general of Barisan Nasional (BN).

The appointment is effective immediately following Annuar's dismissal today.

The announcement of Ahmad's appointment was made by BN Chairman, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi in a speech during a special meeting with UMNO division heads at the World Trade Centre (WTC) today.

Ahmad Maslan previously held the post of UMNO secretary-general.
