Twitterjaya: Parliament to be dissolved today?

The news that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak would dissolve parliament today took many Twitter users by surprise.

Many wondered if the news was true.

Parlimen dah bubar? Bagus, wish those politicians good luck for the election but to elect, no way for me.

As more and more people were talking about the news on Twitter, the official Twitter account for the Prime Minister’s Office, @PMOMalaysia, sent the following two Tweets to clarify the matter.

Salam sejahtera. Khabar angin yg menyatakan Parlimen akan dibubarkan hari ini, oleh Perdana Menteri @najibrazak, tidak benar sama sekali.
