Zahid Hamidi expected to talk about Teresa Kok and PAS's hudud

UMNO vice-president Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi is expected to talk about DAP’s Teresa Kok who had said that PAS intends to implement hudud law so that the party does not lose support from the Malays in the country.
Ahmad Zahid is expected to hold the press conference at 10.30 am, Friday.
Kok was quoted in online news portal Malaysiakini saying that PAS leaders told its allies in Pakatan Rakyat that the Islamic party was having a tough time in trying to win back Malays support.
PAS who wants in implementing hudud laws, held a briefing for its partners on Thursday at the party’s headquarters to explain its insistence in implementing the law despite objections from other parties in PR.
Kok also told Malaysiakini that PAS was challenged by UMNO on hudud implementation and was afraid of losing more votes if they continue to remain silent.
The about two hours meeting was chaired by Datuk Ahmad Yakob, Datuk Mohd Nik Amar Abdullah, Dzulkefly Ahmad, Dr Hatta Ali and Datuk Mustafa Ali.
PKR was represented by Tian Chua, William Leong and Sivarasa Rasiah while Kok, Liew Chin Tong, Zairil Khir Johari and Ong Kian Ming represented DAP.
