Yemeni girl's legs crushed after being caught in elevator

A 12-year-old Yemeni girl was seriously injured when both her legs got caught in the doors of an elevator at an apartment in Taman Sepakat Indah 2, Sungai Chua, Kajang near here last night.
Selangor Fire and Rescue assistant director Mohd Sani Harul said the incident occurred about 8.15pm on the 14th floor of the apartment as she was returning to her family unit.
"The incident crushed both of the girl's legs," Mohd Sani said, when contacted.
He said firemen who arrived at the scene after being informed of the incident managed to open the elevator doors and bring the girl out.
She was then sent to Kajang Hospital for treatment, Mohd Sani added.
