Uprooted tree fell on a taxi at Jalan Raja Chulan, three injured

The traffic along Jalan Raja Chulan was at a standstill during the incident but is now back to normal.
A taxi driver and two female passengers sustained minor injuries after an uprooted tree fell on Jalan Raja Chulan, following a heavy downpour here on Saturday.
A source from the Pudu Fire and Rescue Department confirmed the driver and two female passengers were ferried to Kuala Lumpur Hospital for further treatment. The third passenger was reportedly safe and not injured.
Bomba received the call at 2.02pm and arrived at the location with a six-member team at 2.14pm.
The operation also involved the police, Kuala Lumpur City Hall and Tenaga Nasional Berhad.
Traffic along Jalan Raja Chulan was at a standstill during the incident. After works to remove the vehicle was completed, traffic was back to normal.
