KUALA LUMPUR: A temporary traffic diversion will be implemented at Jalan Cheras from tomorrow until Oct 9 to facilitate the silt dredging and Air Selangor pipe removal works in front of Eko Cheras Mall.

The Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), in a statement today said the works were carried out to overcome the flash flood issue in the area.

During that period, motorists from Kajang heading towards Kuala Lumpur will be diverted and can use the temporary alternative route in front of Eko Cheras Mall.

Road users are advised to abide by temporary signages as a guide and safety precaution to avoid confusion.
