KUALA TERENGGANU: The Tok Adis Ramadan bazaar near Kuala Ibai here, which was ordered to close temporarily by the Terengganu State Health Department (JKNT) last Friday will be allowed to operate again tomorrow.
State Local Government, Housing, Health and Environment Committee chairman Dr Alias Razak said permission to resume operations earlier than the 14-day closure order was given after the organisers gave the assurance that they will adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
“We hope traders and visitors will from now comply with all SOPs to prevent the spread of COVID-19," he said when contacted by reporters today.
The Tok Adis Bazaar is the first one in Terengganu ordered to close temporarily by JKNT after it was found to have violated a number of SOPs.
