Teens' joyride ends in tragedy

Muhammad Nazrin was apparently behind the wheels when the accident occured, say police.
Two teenage boys were killed after the taxi driven by one of them, skidded and crashed into a rubber tree along Jalan Gadong-LBJ near here last night.
A police spokesman said in the incident around 11pm, the victims, Muhammad Nazrin Aziz, 13 and Muhamad Alif Mohamed Zabri, 15, were thrown out of the vehicle in the impact and succumbed to serious head and bodily injuries.
The spokesman said, Muhammad Nazrin had taken his father's taxi for a ride with Muhamad Alif while the family were out shopping for Hari Raya.
Their bodies have been sent to Tuanku Jaafar Hospital in Seremban for post-mortem, according to the spokesman.
Meanwhile, state Traffic Police chief Supt Abdul Aziz Ali, when contacted, confirmed the incident.
