Tapah murders: Remand for all suspects extended another week

The Magistrate Court today extended the remand period for four members of a family by seven days in connection with the murder of four individuals at a heavy vehicle workshop in Jalan Pahang, here.
The extension of remand order issued by Magistrate Nurul Nadia Abdul Razak will start tomorrow and end on Nov 19.
The 57-year-old man and his 54-year-old wife, along with their two sons, aged 20 and 17, were earlier remanded for seven days from Nov 6.
They were remanded to facilitate investigations in the case of 54-year-old auto spare parts salesman who was reported missing in June 2014.
Prior to this, they were also remanded from Oct 27 to Nov 6 over the murder of a farmer and property agent, Jasbeer Singh, 46.
The cases were being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
