Special Cabinet Meeting ends at 2pm

PUTRAJAYA: Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin's special meeting with the Cabinet ended at 2 pm this afternoon, after almost three hours at the Perdana Putra Building, here.
The meeting which started at 11.30 am was attended by Cabinet ministers believed to discuss the decision of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah rejecting the declaration of Emergency yesterday.
Among the Cabinet members who have left the Prime Minister's Office include Senior Minister of Economy, Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali; Foreign Minister, Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein; Minister of National Unity, Datuk Halimah Mohamed Sadique and Minister of Federal Territories, Tan Sri Annuar Musa.
Apart from them, also leaving the Perdana Putra Building are the Minister of Health, Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba; Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Religious Affairs), Datuk Seri Dr Zulkifli Mohamad Al-Bakri and Minister of Housing and Local Government, Zuraida Kamaruddin.
Earlier, Muhyiddin also held a meeting with political party leaders from the Perikatan Nasional (PN) which lasted for about two hours at 9.30 this morning.
Astro AWANI was informed the meeting was attended by PAS President, Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang, MIC President, Tan Sri S. A Vigneswaran, Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (STAR) President, Datuk Dr Jeffrey Kitingan and Senior Vice President of the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB), Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof.
