The Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) today announced a new rate for taxi services and express buses.

The new rate for the taxi services will take into effect immediately while for express buses will begin on May 15.

For taxis, the new rate will only be applicable for trips within the Klang Valley, Johor Baharu and Penang between 25 sen until 35 sen for a distance of 200 meters.

While the rate for waiting time is between 25 sen until 35 sen for the duration of 36 seconds.
