Son dream of mother's death before Tampin-Gemas road mishap

The son of a road crash victim involving a family of four in Tampin-Gemas yesterday did not expect his dream on Friday about his mother's death would come true.

Mohd Syukri Jusoh,33, said he should have joined his brother, Mohd Fadzil and their mother to attend a gathering at their foster family home in Muar, Johor, but cancelled it at the last minute.

"In fact, I had applied for four days leave to join the group trip which was planned a month ago. I felt uneasy and lost interest and decided to withdrew the leave application last Thursday.

"My wife told me not to think too much about my dream and my mother would be fine," said the postman when met at Kampung Binjai Mosque, here, today.

It is believed the crash occurred when Mohd Fadzil lost control of his Proton Saga and collided with a Proton Persona driven by a 62-year-old man from the opposite direction.

Mohd Shukri said Mohd Fadzil left Kemaman at 8am before joining his elder sister Junaidah in Kuantan.

However, they split in Segamat as Junaidah decided to use Tangkak road while Mohd Fadzil went on Tampin-Gemas road.

Mohd Syukri said that before the accident, his mother showed acted strange n and was often seen sulking.

"She really wanted me to come along but I declined and asked her to buy me souvenirs instead," he said.

All the four victims were buried in one grave at Kampung Binjai Muslim cemetery in Kemaman, at 9pm tonight. - BERNAMA
