Simi Abd Ghani appointed as new MACC investigation director

Datuk Simi Abd Ghani has been appointed as the new Investigation Division director of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) effective today.
MACC in a statement today said Simi replaced Datuk Azam Baki who was appointed as MACC Deputy Chief Commissioner (Operation) on Oct 4 last year.
Prior to his latest appointment, Simi was the Johor MACC director.
He had joined the Anti-Corruption Agency (BPR) headquarters (now MACC) on June 16, 1983 as an investigation officer and was appointed Sarawak BPR director on Dec 1, 2004 before taking up the post of Pahang BPR director on July 16, 2006.
On Jan 1, 2008 Simi held the post of Johor BPR director and was appointed as Selangor MACC director in 2014 before returning to Johor as MACC director on March 15 last year. - BERNAMA
