Several main roads in Klang Valley to be closed for MRT project

Several main roads in Klang Valley will be closed to traffic beginning this week until June 15 to facilitate the construction of the Mass Rail Transit (MRT) project.
Mass Rapid Transit Corporation (MRT) said in a statement Friday said the affected roads are the right lane of Persiaran Surian, opposite Sunway Giza Mall, which will be closed from Monday (March, 24) until June 15.
The junction of Jalan PJU 5/13 heading towards Persiaran Surian will be closed until April 4.
Beginning April 5, vehicles from Jalan PJU 5/8 are no longer allowed to make left turn at the junction of Jalan PJU 5/13 to exit Persiaran Surian.
Meanwhile, Syarikat Besraya (M) Sdn Bhd in a statement said the launching work on beam structure of the pedestrian bridge for the connection project of Sungai Besi Highway (BESRAYA Eastern Extension), will cause temporary closure of traffic diversion at Jalan Pandan Indah from March 24 until March 28.
Temporary closure on March 24 of the diversion towards Bandar Baru Ampang and from Bandar Baru Ampang towards Jalan Shamelin begins at 11pm until 5am.
Motorists are advised to use the flyover connecting Jalan Jejaka, Jalan Jalan Maluri and Jalan Shamelin 4/91, passing through Jalan Jejaka and Jalan Pandan 1, Pandan Jaya and exit to MRR2.
Through MRR2, motorists are advised to make a u-turn near TESCO Ampang to exit the junction of Jalan Pandan Indah.
For motorists from Bandar Baru Ampang heading towards Jalan Shamelin are advised to use Jalan Pandan Utama passing MRR2 towards Jalan Shamelin 1/91.
