Seven tahfiz students killed in Kuala Krai accident

Seven tahfiz students were killed in an accident when their van skidded and rammed into a in an accident near Jalan Kuala Krai-Kota Bharu earlier today.
Seven others sustained injuries, including five in serious condition were brought to the Kuala Krai Hospital for treatment.
Kelantan Fire and Rescue Department director Nazili Mahmood when contacted said the van that the students were travelling in skidded into a ditch before crashing into a house.
"All the victims are male and they are from the Pusat Tahfiz Al-Hashimi Kampung Tualang here. We are currently in the process of identifying the victims," he said when contacted, here today.
Nazili said they received a distress call about the accident at 9.45am and dispatched two engines with 12 firefighters to the scene.
He said the bodies were sent to the Kuala Krai Hospital for post-mortem and the injured were also sent to the same hospital for treatment.
The dead victims were Mohd Hakimi Mohd Dahlan, 17, Ahmad Farhan Zulkifli, 14, Mohamad Hafiz Aimullah Mustafa, 18, Muhammad Rahman Rozali, 18, Nik Shah Jehan Nik Azmi, 16, Nik Ahmed Daniel Nik Ahmed Rithaudeen, 14, and Thai student, Sarifuddin Muhammad whose age was not known.
