Setting up a nursery for disabled children is a very challenging task.

Perak Intellectually Troubled People Society President Dr Yeoh Beng San said careful planning is needed to set up such a nursery.

“The whole set up must have a clean, safe environment for the children.

“The ventilation must be very good to prevent infection as disabled children have a tendency to be sick,” he said adding that the right personnel or specially trained people is also essential to ensure that the nursery’s operation is run smoothly.
