Several areas in Sepang, Hulu Langat, Petaling and Gombak in Selangor will experience temporary water disruption on Thursday (Oct 9) from 9am to 9pm.

Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Syabas), in a statement today, said this was to facilitate pipe repairs by Konsortium ABASS Sdn Bhd at the Sungai Semenyih Water Treatment Plant.

At the same time Syabas would also be upgrading its water supply system in the area.

In Sepang, the affected areas would be Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi, IOI Sepang, MARDI, Suria Tropika, D'Alpinia, Jenderam Hilir, 16 Sierra and Sungai Buah.

In Petaling, the discruption would affect whole areas of Bandar Bukit Puchong, Bandar Putra Permai, Bukit Puchong, Bukit Serdang, Kota Perdana, Lestari Perdana, Meranti Puchong, Lestari Puchong, Pinggiran Putra, Taman Universiti Indah, Taman Puncak Jalil, Selangor Wholesale Market, Serdang Hospital and ASTRO Bukit Jalil.

Meanwhile, in Hulu Langat, the areas affected would be Bandar Sri Putra, Bandar Baru Bangi, Bandar Bukit Mahkota, Bangi Lama, Seksyen 1 to Seksyen 4 Bandar Baru Bangi, Kampung Rinching Hilir, Kampung Jalan Enam Kaki, Beranang, Kampung Sungai Purun, Semenyih, Mines Resort and Kolej Universiti Islam
Selangor.

In Gombak, disruption would be experienced in Air Panas Setapak, Columbia Hospital, Jalan Semarak, Taman Danau Kota, Kampung Bandar Dalam, Taman Prima Setapak, Jalan Genting Kelang, Jalan Langkawi, Jalan Pahang and Batu 3 to 5, Gombak.

Syabas advised consumers to keep sufficient supply of water during this period and to contact the Customer Service Centre (Puspel) at 1-800-88-5252 or SMS by sending PUSPEL to 39222 for further enquiries.
