To date, 90 state and federal organisations in Selangor have signed the IBR.
The Selangor government is urged to immediately sign the Corruption-Free Pledge (IBR) as it is the only state government in the country that has not yet done so.
Selangor Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) director Datuk Wan Ramli Wan Abdullah said the commission was still waiting for feedback from the administration of Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali to hold discussion on the pledge.
"To date, 90 state and federal organisations in Selangor have signed the IBR, and it is the highest compared to other states and we expect the number to grow by the end of this year.
"Only the Selangor government has yet to give its final decision. The Penang government and the Kelantan government have finally agreed to participate in the IBR and hopefully the Selangor government will take the same step," he told reporters after witnessing the signing ceremony of the IBR by the Perbadanan Wakaf Selangor (PWS) here today.
The signing ceremony was led by PWS chief executive officer Datuk Mohammad Yacob.
