Segambut apartment murder: Baby died of blunt force trauma to the head

Police have confirmed that the seven-month-old baby boy found dead in an apartment on Monday died due blunt force trauma to the head.
Cheah Kai Wen's body was found along with the bodies of his father, Cheah Hing Soon and sister Cheah Kai Sze in their rented home in Segambut.
Sentul police chief ACP R. Munusamy said the Kuala Lumpur Hospital post-mortem report stated that Kai Wen's skull was fractured.
"There is an element of crime in this case," he said when contacted by Bernama here, Tuesday night.
Munusamy said police were still waiting for the autopsy reports on Hing Soon, 34, and three-year-old Kai Sze.
On Monday, their bodies were found in their rented home at Nova Apartments, Taman Sri Sinar in Segambut here.
The bodies of the children were found in two big containers covered with plastic sheet while the body of the man was found in the main bedroom.
The victim's wife, aged 35, has been remanded for five days starting yesterday to help with the investigation.
