The Selangor state legislative assembly will formally use the sign language during the sitting from next year to make it easier for people with disabilities to understand government policies that are enacted.
Speaker, Hannah Yeoh, said currently a trial run was being conducted until Friday to test the effectiveness of the sign language during the sitting.
"The facility is conducted in collaboration with TV Selangor and will be used fully from next year," she told a media conference at the end of the sitting here today.
