The remains of four men found in a car in a stream at Km 42 Jalan Kota Tinggi-Mersing Wednesday morning were buried here last night.
Luqman Jainie, Nik Shakir Zufayri Nik Arif and Muhammad Ashraf Isa were buried at the Cahaya Masai Muslim cemetery while Abu Izzani Abu Bakar was buried at the Sungai Tengkorak Muslim cemetery, Plentong.
The burial at the two cemeteries were completed at about 11.30 last night.
Earlier, the remains arrived by van at Masjid Nur Hidayah, Jalan Tasek, Bandar Seri Alam, Masai, at 10 pm from Mersing Hospital for prayers.
About 500 people were on hand to receive the remains.
The four men all aged 21, were reported missing while on the way from their home in Bandar Seri Alam, to Terengganu for a holiday.
Their families reported to police that the foursome left their Bandar Seri Alam homes at about 9.30pm on Feb 10 in a Honda Accord car.
