Jamal said he had handed some of the evidence and documents to the MACC to carry out follow-up investigation on Zuraida.
The chairman of the Malaysian Federation of NGOs, Datuk Seri Jamal Md Yunos today lodged a report with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) against Ampang Member of Parliament, Zuraida Kamaruddin which could be related to the extraordinary wealth possessed by a young Selangor PKR leader (Datuk Adam Rosly).
Jamal, who is also the Sungai Besar UMNO Division head, said he was doubtful how a young leader with the title "Datuk" was said to have possessed extraordinary wealth at the age of 28.
"If a follower can possess such wealth, certainly the leader would have much more than that," he told reporters at the MACC office, here today.
Jamal said he had handed some of the evidence and documents to the MACC to carry out follow-up investigation on Zuraida.
The young PKR leader was remanded for five days since April 14 before his remand order was extended for another four days beginning tomorrow to assist investigation under Section 14 (1) of the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities (AMLA) 2001.
The man attracted attention after the media reported about his extraordinary wealth including the alleged ownership of a multi-million Ringgit bungalow and several luxury cars although he had only recently held a position in PKR.
