Police have arrested Red Shirt leader, Datuk Seri Jamal Yunos to assist investigations into alleged trespass and theft at entertainment outlets last Dec.
Jamal was detained after police surrounded his residence for more than three hours.
Jamal, who is Sungai Besar UMNO chief, was seen exiting his house on a motorbike at around 3pm and taken to the Ampang police station in a police vehicle.
In Dec, Jamal and his Baju Merah supporters had reportedly ‘ambushed’ several business premises which he claimed involved in illegal activities.
Selangor CID chief, SAC Fadzil Ahmat in a statement confirmed the arrest.
Jamal and his nine followers were detained to assist investigation of the raid he led in an Ampang entertainment outlet.
