Rayani Air's last minute cancellations spark anger among passengers

Passengers of the country’s first syariah-compliant airline, Rayani Air expressed their anger towards the company on social media after the last minute cancellation of several scheduled flights on Friday.
The affected flights were RN130 from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu, RN153 and RN154 from Kuala Lumpur to Kuching and RN182 from Kuala Lumpur to Langkawi.
A passenger who is known as Ahmad Tarmidzi said that he was disappointed after the airline decided to notify passengers via short messaging system (SMS) citing the cancellation was due to ‘strike by pilots’.

Another passenger, Aina Redzuan asked, “how to ‘fly’ if flights were cancelled?
Ridhwan Nor said his wish to savour the famous char kway teow in Kota Bharu, Kelantan was not fulfilled due to the cancellation.
Meanwhile, Rayani Air chief executive officer, Ravi Alagendrran when contacted by Astro AWANI via WhatsApp concerning the 'pilot strike' replied, 'no comment'.
