Rangkaian Celcom bermasalah, pengguna desak SKMM siasat

Celcom berkata, gangguan itu adalah disebabkan isu teknikal dan mereka sedang berusaha menyelesaikan masalah itu.
KUALA LUMPUR: Pengguna Celcom hari ini terpaksa menghadapi kesulitan hampir tiga jam, ekoran gangguan secara menyeluruh untuk perkhidmatan data dan suara di seluruh negara.
Dalam tempoh tiga jam itu, pengguna tidak menerima langsung sebarang data, dan ada antara mereka yang hanya boleh membuat panggilan kecemasan.
Dalam ciapan ringkas di akaun rasmi Twitternya pada pukul 4.30 petang Ahad, Celcom berkata, gangguan itu adalah disebabkan isu teknikal dan mereka sedang berusaha menyelesaikan masalah itu.

Customers in some areas nationwide may find their voice and data services experience affected due to a technical issue we are facing right now. Our technical team is working hard to resolve this issue and restore services as soon as possible.

Susulan kekerapan masalah teknikal yang melanda pengguna Celcom tahun ini, ada antara pengguna yang menggesa agar pihak Suruhanjaya Komunikasi dan Multimedia Malaysia (SKMM) masuk campur dan mengenakan denda yang tinggi terhadap penyedia perkhidmatan itu.
Seorang pengguna Celcom, Mohd Faizal Hassan dalam ciapan susulan berkongsi pautan dari laman web rasmi SKMM bahawa Celcom telah mempunyai 24 kompaun bernilai RM1.2 juta, setakat suku kedua tahun ini.

Gangguan teknikal terhadap Celcom turut memberi kesan kepada penyedia perkhidmatan lain seperti Yoodo, Tune Talk, dan Unifi kerana penggunaan rangkaian infrastruktur telekomunikasi yang sama.
