The police are in the midst of tracking down the first individual who distributed photos of a bank officer on social sites after she was shot dead by a security guard at a bank in Subang Jaya on Oct 23.

Selangor police chief Datuk Mohd Shukri Dahlan said the main focus was to detect the individual and investigate the bank staff as the photos were from closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras installed at the bank.

"We are still investigating the origin of the distribution of the photos. In fact, we have taken a recording of the talks involving two policemen. We will conduct a detailed investigation," he told a media conference
at the Selangor police contingent headquarters media centre on Wednesday.

In the incident, the security guard who was armed with a pump-action shotgun shot Norazita Abu Talib, 37, in the face when she opened the bank vault, together with another bank officer.

The killer escaped with RM450,000 taken from the vault. A 32-second video recording of the aftermath of the robbery, believed to have been taken from the CCTV, was also found on social sites.

Mohd Shukri said 11 people, including three members of the alleged killer guard's family, had been arrested to facilitate investigations.
