The police have received 18 reports from members of the public, parents, teachers and staff of SK Seri Pristana in Saujana Utama, Sungai Buloh here, regarding the issue of the makeshift canteen in the school.

Sungai Buloh police chief Supt Junaidi Bujang said most of the reports stated that it was wrong for the school's headmaster to ask non-Muslim pupils to eat in the school's changing room during recess.

Two of the reports were lodged by the teacher and the clerk at the school, he told Bernama here today.
He said three reports were lodged soon after the picture of the pupils eating in the changing room was captured and circulated over the Internet, 10 others were lodged the following day, four yesterday and one more report was lodged today at the Saujana Utama police station.

Junaidi said the reports were classified as intimidation reports and were being investigated.

It was reported that 28 non-Muslim pupils in the school were ordered to eat their meals during recess in the makeshift canteen in the changing room during the Ramadan month.

Yesterday, the school's headmaster, Mohd Nasir Mohd Noor, also lodged a police report on a death threat he received concerning the issue.
