AMONG the headlines for Wednesday, 30 June, 2021, Malaysia’s Health Minister Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba affirms that the matter on issues prompting contract doctors into a possible strike next month was being addressed and will be tabled at the next Cabinet meeting.
He said this is to ensure several requests made to the ministry’s contract doctor scheme to be more beneficial.
Also, At least seven people have died while eleven are still missing, after a passenger ferry sank off the coast of the Indonesian island of Bali with 56 people on board.
The KMP Yunice, carrying 41 passengers and 15 crew members, sank last night as it headed to the port of Gilimanuk in Bali from the island of Java.
