PM's private secretary dies

Mohd Po'ad died at the Raffles Hospital in Singapore at about 9am due to cancer.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak today announced the death of his private secretary Datuk Mohd Po'ad Jelani.
He paid tribute to Mohd Po'ad as a conscientious individual in the discharge of his duties.
"The late Mohd Po'ad had been with me for a long time. Al-Fatihah," Najib said in a post on his Twitter account.

The prime minister is currently on a visit to Sarawak.
In Singapore, Malaysian deputy high commissioner Kamsiah Kamaluddin said Mohd Po'ad died at the Raffles Hospital at about 9am due to cancer.
She said the High Commission here was assisting to bring back his body to Malaysia this evening for burial in Janda Baik, Pahang, tonight.
Kamsiah said the deceased's wife Datin Hamizah Abdul Khalid, 48, and his children, Nabila Affiqah, 21, and Muhammad Irfan Hazim, 16, were with him when he died.
