PM hold fruitful talks with Philippine President

Datuk Seri Najib said both parties had positive discussion regarding Malaysia-Philippines diplomatic ties and working partnership.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak was satisfied with the fruitful bilateral talks with Philippine President Benigno Aquino which was held at Perdana Putra, Putrajaya.
Najib said both parties had positive discussion regarding Malaysia-Philippines diplomatic ties and working partnership.
"Had positive discussion with Anoynoyaquino (President Aquino) regarding Malaysia-Philippines diplomatic and working partnership," Najib said in a tweet on his Twitter account page, Friday.

Najib said Malaysia was keen to offer its expertise in Islamic finance, banking services and promotion of halal products to the Philippines.
"Both governments have agreed that we should encourage the value and volume of bilateral trade to increase," said Najib, who is also the Finance Minister.
Aquino is on a two-day visit to Malaysia beginning Thursday.
