Photographer thrown egg while covering Anwar's case

An egg was thrown towards a media personnel today while he was covering the final appeal hearing of Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at the Federal Court in Putrajaya.
The egg was hurled towards a New Straits Times Press (NSTP) photographer, Mohamad Shahril Badri, 34, by an unidentified supporter in front of the barriers at the Palace of Justice.
Earlier, the police gave way to Anwar's supporters to take shelter under a tent opposite the court. The supporters were advised to cooperate and not make any provocation or even approach the court square.
Today was the second day of Anwar's final hearing appeal against his second sodomy conviction.
The PKR de facto leader's 13-member defence team, led by retired Federal Court judge Datuk Gopal Sri Ram, includes Eric Paulsen, Ramkarpal Singh, Sangeet Kaur Deo, N. Surendran, Latheefa Koya, Lim Choon Khim, Michelle Yesudas, Shahid Adli Kamaruddin, Zaleha Al-Hayat, Jeremy Vinesh Anthony and Mohamed Aliff Bolkin.
