The current “Ops Daulat” operation against armed intruders in the war torn East Sabah is making good progress.

In making this assurance, Armed Forces Chief Jeneral Tan Sri Zulkifeli Mohd Zin said the operation will be continued.

“We are making good progress..slow..but making good progress,” he said at a press conference at Felda Sahabat 16 here today.

Zulkifeli also said that there has been no gun battle today but they believe the remaining intruders are still hiding out in ‘certain’ areas.

Yesterday, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak rejected the call for a unilateral ceasefire by self-proclaimed Sulu Sultan Jamalul Kiram lll to end the gunfights and bloodshed in Sabah.
