Forty-three individuals were arrested for violating the Conditional Movement Control (CMCO) Order within the past 24 hours.
Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said that of the total, 38 individuals were remanded while the rest were given bail by the police.
"However, no compound was issued for Aidilfitri visiting," he told a press conference here on Monday.
Elaborating on this, Ismail Sabri said a total of 220 compounds were issued in the field and out of that, 134 compounds were served at roadblocks.
He said police also carried out 147 roadblocks across state borders and inspected 147,327 vehicles.
"Residents in Perak made up for the most number of people trying to travel cross-border with 40 compounds issued, followed by Selangor (29) and Penang (23)," he added.
In addition, 37,098 Malaysians who had undergone mandatory quarantine after returning from abroad have been to return home.
"They are among the 48,236 Malaysians quarantined since April 3," he added.
