KUALA LUMPUR: The Department of Statistics Malaysia (DoSM) has been conducting the three-month-long National Household Indicators Survey (NHIS) since September 2021.
In a statement today, DoSM said the NHIS, which will end next month, covers selected housing units across the country.
"The survey aims to provide information for the indicators for sustainable development goals (SDGs), civil registration and vital statistics and gender, as well as the Malaysian Happiness Index," it said.
DoSM said the survey's findings would serve as an input for policy formulation, monitoring and evaluation of the effectiveness of the national development programmes, as well as for monitoring the progress of SDGs at the national level.
