The Ministry of Transport (MOT) and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) will have their own building as the government strives to improve services to the people.
Vice-president of Urban Planning Department, Putrajaya Corporation (PPj) Datuk Omairi Hashim said the MOT and the MACC are currently operating at Parcel D of the Government Office Complex.
"PPj will also build another Government Office Complex called Parcel F," he told Bernama here recently.
Developed since 18 years ago, Putrajaya has rapidly grown with 22 ministries operating in the federal government administration centre.
Omairi said PPj had in the past five years planned various infrastructure to accomodate the needs of Putrajaya residents.
Among the projects planned are the Sports Complex for Sukma 2018 in Precinct 5, completion of Sisiran Putrajaya (38km) and building 10,000 units of 1Malaysia Housing For Civil Servants.
He said 22,452 units of quarters had been built and 1,469 multi-purpose residential units are expected to be completed in 2016.
"Most of the residential areas are equipped with Urban Service Centres with facilities such as community halls, community resource centres, food courts and post offices."
Four Urban Service Centres are fully operational while seven others will be developed from time to time.
