A total of 9,359 private vehicles and 1,245 civilian vehicles were inspected by the Compliance Operations Task Force in monitoring the enforcement of standard operating procedure (SOP) on the first day of the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO).
In addition, Senior Minister (Security Cluster) Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said, the team also inspected 546 public markets, 927 places of worship, 298 recreational areas and 180 construction sites.
"The focus of this comprehensive compliance monitoring in supermarkets and shopping malls has not escaped the scrutiny of the CMCO Special Task Force," he told a media conference here today.
Yesterday, Ismail Sabri said the special team consisted of 14 government agencies authorized by the Ministry of Health (MOH) for implementation of the CMCO 's compliance.
