The Mizuno Wave Run 2015, scheduled for Sunday, has been cancelled due to haze, said the organiser.
The Mizuno Wave Run 2015, scheduled for Sunday, has been cancelled due to haze, said the organiser.
"With much regret, due to the worsening haze condition, the management has decided to officially cancel the Mizuno Wave Run 2015.
"As your safety and health conditions are our main priorities, such decision is inevitable," said the organiser in an announcement posted on World of Sports Malaysia's Facebook page.
The Mizuno Wave Run 2015 is scheduled to flag off Sunday at 6.30am at Dataran Putrajaya but the Air Polluntant Index (API) level continued to record unhealthy air quality of 105 as of 6pm Saturday.
As requested by participants, the organiser said they have decided to postpone the event, and the date as well as the venue would be announced at a later date.
"Please be informed that no medals will be issued to participants tomorrow from Putrajaya and Monday from eCurve outlet. Kindly retain your running Bibs as a proof of registration to be eligible for the coming event," they said.
