Missouri floods: Malaysian army man found dead

Capt Hasman Hussin, who was reported missing in the Missouri floods on Dec 26, has been found dead, the Armed Forces (ATM) said.

His body was found at 11am local time on Dec 28.

His family members were informed of his death at about 8.30am today by a senior ATM officer attached with the Terendak Melaka Camp.

Hasman was reported missing after the vehicle he was travelling in was swept by swift current in Missouri, United States.

Hasman was undergoing the Engineer Captains' Career Course in Fort Leonard Wood from Oct 1, 2015 until April 15, next year.

He leaves behind three children, all boys, with the eldest being three years old and the other two are twins, aged three months.
