The Malaysian investigation team flew to the Maldives last Tuesday to verify objects believed to be from MH370 which vanished from radar screens in March last year.
Two light and palm-sized items have arrived in Malaysia to be determined if it indeed came from MH370, said Transport Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai.
"One is a honeycomb (grille) material while the other is a flat-surfaced material," he said after officiating the 4th Selangor Wanita MCA assembly at Wisma MCA in Kuala Lumpur today.
"We will leave it to the experts to carry out their analysis and the latest developments will be updated from time to time," said Liow.
The Malaysian investigation team flew to the Maldives last Tuesday to verify objects believed to be from MH370 which vanished from radar screens in March last year.
Last week, Liow said Malaysia will bring back the pieces of debris found in Maldives, believed to be parts from the missing aircraft, for further verification.
The plane was flying from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 239 people aboard.
On Aug 6, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak confirmed that the aircraft debris washed up on Reunion island was indeed from the missing Boeing 777.
