A man who allegedly slapped his girlfriend and caused her to plunge to her death at a hillside in Ampang on Friday morning, has been remanded for a week.
A man who allegedly slapped his girlfriend and caused her to plunge to her death at a hillside in Ampang on Friday morning, has been remanded for a week.
Ampang police deputy chief, Supt Nazri Nawawi said the suspect in his 30s was under investigation for murder.
He said according to a witness account, the couple was arguing in Bukit Permai 1, Taman Bukit Permai before the victim was slapped in the 12.50am incident.
The woman plunged 26 metres to her death, he told Bernama today.
The body was sent to Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre.
