Malaysian Moto3 rider killed in accident

Husni Aizat who suffered serious injuries died on his way to the Felda Air Tawar 2 Health Clinic.
Malaysian Moto3 rider Husni Aizat Abdul Malik was killed when his motorcycle was involved in a road accident with a lorry in Kota Tinggi, Johor Baharu, today.
During the 8.30am incident at Jalan Tanjung Buai-Teluk Sengat, Husni who was riding his motorcycle lost control at a sharp corner and collided with an oncoming lorry.
"Husni was on his way from Pasir Gudang to Felda Air Tawar 1," said Kota Tinggi police chief Supt Rahmat Othman when contacted here today.
The victim who suffered serious injuries died on his way to the Felda Air Tawar 2 Health Clinic while the driver of the lorry, 32, did not suffer any injuries.
Husni from Felda Air Tawar 1 is the former Touchline SIC-Ajo team rider who had competed in the CEV Repsol Moto3 Spanish Championship in Spain.
According to reports, Husni was supposed to have competed in the championship this year but was dropped by the team management in March.
Husni who had competed in the SIC Ninja 250 R Cup competition and finished in second place, had also competed in the Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix on a wild card ticket.
