KUALA LUMPUR: The upcoming concert of award winning Indian music composer Anirudh Ravichander in Malaysia on Sept 17, promises a completely different experience for the audience.
Taking a cue from British rock band Coldplay's previous concerts, the 'Anirudh's Once Upon A Time Tour' to be held at Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil here will be the first "glow in the dark" concert ever done by an Indian artiste in Malaysia where all attendees will be given programmable LED wristbands designed to create a stunning light show during the event to further enhance the concert experience.
One of the sponsors of the event, Aha, a local Tamil OTT platform, also announced a contest where 20 lucky fans will have the opportunity to win tickets to see the musician live along with a meet-and-greet session.
Chief executive officer of Aha, Ajit Thakur said the contest provides Malaysian fans a chance of their lifetime to meet Anirudh who is also the Brand Ambassador of Aha Tamil.
"Aha has always believed in allowing its fans to live their dreams and this contest is our effort towards that," he said in a statement.
To submit an entry for the competition, fans just need to subscribe to the Aha Tamil annual pack, which is open until Sept 9. Send a screenshot of successful subscription completion to +6017 6604989.
More details of the contest are available on the Aha social media channel.
The contest is being organised to commemorate the launch of the Aha Tamil, an OTT platform available in Malaysia and Singapore, which is a joint venture between Allu Aravind (Geetha Arts) and My Home Group.
Since its inception, Aha has connected with its audience by sharing stories of their land and engaging them with their favourite stars.
The 100 per cent Tamil regional OTT platform has released several blockbuster movies and originals including Vikram, Koogle Kuttapa, Manmadhaleelai AkashVaani, Ammuchi 2, Kuthukku Pathu, Sarkaar and others.
