Makkah crane tragedy: Najib prays for the souls of Malaysian victims

Datuk Seri Najib Razak today prayed for the souls of the Malaysian pilgrims killed following the crane crash incident at Masjid al-Haram on Sept 11 to be placed in heaven.
"The remains of two more haj pilgrims had been identified, meaning that all Malaysian pilgrims killed had been found. Heaven is their place, Insya-Allah. Al-Fatihah," said the Prime Minister in his Twitter today.
The media reported that two more Malaysian pilgrims; Shahidan Saad, 52, from Kodiang, Kedah and Abdul Habib Lahman, 68, from Sik, Kedah, who went missing in the incident had been confirmed killed after the identification process for the victims had been carried out.
Earlier, five Malaysian pilgrims confirmed killed in the tragedy were Rusiah Suar, 56, from Sungkai, Perak, Siti Nurolshlizan Zolkifli, 37, from Tanah Merah; Rohana Ismail, 54, from Kuala Krai; Munah Jusoh, 73, from Cherang Ruku and Zainun Taha, 69, from Ampang, Selangor.
In the incident at 5pm on Sept 11, more than 100 haj pilgrims were killed while hundreds more were injured after the crane collapsed on the Masjidil Haram building, after Muslims had performed the Asar prayers.
The incident occurred during heavy rain and a sand storm in the Masjid al-Haram area which was actively undergoing extension work.
