MACC to interview two SRC directors - Najib

According to Najib, Nik Faisal Ariff Kamil and Datuk Suboh Md Yassin are currently in the midst of planning to be interviewed by MACC soonest to facilitate MACC's investigation.
Two SRC International Sdn Bhd directors are currently in the midst of preparing to be interviewed by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) to assist the anti-graft agency in its investigation.
The matter was informed by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak in a written reply to Teo Nie Ching (DAP-Kulai) in Parliament, this morning.
"For your information, based on the information obtained from SRC International Sdn Bhd's (SRC) management, Nik Faisal Ariff Kamil and Datuk Suboh Md Yassin are currently in the midst of planning to be interviewed by MACC soonest to facilitate MACC's investigation.
"Therefore, the question about their positions as members of SRC Board of Directors does not arise at all," said Najib who is also Finance Minister.
Teo, in her question asked whether SRC International managing director Nik Faisal Ariff Kamil and SRC International Sdn Bhd director Datuk Suboh Md Yassin would be dismissed from their posts if they refused to cooperated with the MACC.
Besides the two, MACC is also seeking for businessman Low Taek Jho or popularly know as Jho Low, to help in the investigations into SRC and issued notices on August 22 to the three individuals to contact it immediately regarding the matter.
It was reported that Low had contacted MACC and stated his willingness to cooperate with the authorities.
