Here are some offbeat restaurants or dishes to try this Ramadan.
1. RasaNya - First Peranakan Steamboat
Experience a unique twist on the traditional 'buka puasa' at Malaysia's first premium Peranakan steamboat restaurant at Pavilion Elite.
With five soup bases to choose from, ranging from spicy laksa to soothing herbal, diners can enjoy a communal hotpot that blends Chinese, Malay and Western heritage in one delicious bowl.
For Ramadan, RasaNya has collaborated with celebrity chef Datuk Zamzani Abdul Wahab, better known as Chef Zam, to create a Ramadan buffet that will run exclusively from 15 March to 21 April.
Get the chance to try Chef Zam's specially created soup base called RahsiaNya, a flavourful chicken broth infused with chilli peppers, coconut water, fermented beans and tofu.
The buffet is available for two sessions, from 7pm to 9.30pm for RM118 per adult and from 9.30pm to midnight for RM98 per person.
