KLIA customs officer claims trial to corruption

A Customs enforcement officer claimed trial in the Sessions Court here today to receiving RM300 from an individual in July, last year.
Mohd Yusri Mohd Jonet, 35, who is based at the Customs inspection division at Kuala Lumpur International Airport allegedly committed the offence at Maybank, SS2, Petaling Jaya, at 1.42pm on July 27.
Judge Datuk Noradidah Ahmad set RM4,000 as bail with one surety, and Sept 30 for re-mention.
Deputy public prosecutor Husmarudin Husin appeared for the prosecution, while counsel Gabriel Susayan represented Mohd Yusri whose passport was also impounded by the court pending disposal of the case.
