PAS deputy president, Mohamad Sabu or better known as Mat Sabu, was arrested in front of Seven Star Restaurant in Pulau Pinang early Saturday.

Yesterday, activist Hishamuddin Md Rais has been arrested at Dataran Merdeka while Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) vice-president, Tian Chua has been called in over the sit-in rally at Dataran Merdeka.
PKR Communications Director, Fahmi Fadzil said both of them are currently detained at the Dang Wangi District police headquarters for investigations.
On Thursday, police had arrested six individuals over the sit-in #KitaLawan demonstration scheduled to be held at Dataran Merdeka. The individuals include Teja Assemblyman, Chang Lih Kang and Simpang Pulai Assemblyman, Tan Kar Hing have been remanded for four days starting today.
