PARIT BUNTAR: The Ministry of Youth and Sports will mobilise youths to help the government register young people and the elderly in the interior areas for the COVID-19 vaccine through the MySejahtera application.
Deputy Minister Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal said the move was made after it was found that the group lacked awareness and knowledge regarding registration through the application.
"We need help because information constraints make those living in the interior face problems to register via MySejahtera," he told a press conference after visiting sports facilities in Taman Kerian here yesterday.
On the visit, Wan Ahmad Fayhsal said it was aimed at considering the suitability of the proposed establishment of a synthetic hockey field there.
"This area is beautiful and I believe that Kerian district has a record of producing hockey players. The sports facilities can also be used by young people for training purposes," he added.
