Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi today said there was still an International Criminal Police Organisation (Interpol) red notice out for the arrest of four suspects linked to the murder of North Korean Kim Jong-nam.
Ahmad Zahid, who is also Home Minister, said the government had left it to Interpol to assess and manage the issue.
"I think the president of Interpol, who is also Deputy Interior Minister of China, Meng Hongwei, will direct the executive director of Interpol, Jargon Stock, to address the issue (based on the standard operating procedure agreed among countries requesting information and action based on mutual legal assistance from a member country of Interpol)," he said.
