"I miss you guys sometimes actually, seriously" - Ahmad Faizal

Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu's last speech in the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) on Friday attracted the attention of many.

After expressing his appreciation to all DUN members, he spontaneously said he would also miss his comrades-in-arms from Pakatan Harapan.

“I would like to thank my comrades in Pakatan Harapan.

"I miss you guys sometimes actually, seriously," said Ahmad Faizal while carving a smile.

Ahmad Faizal, who is also the Chenderiang state assemblyman, failed to gain the support of the majority of State Assemblymen (ADUN) in the motion of confidence which took place on Friday.

A total of 48 votes did not support the motion and only 10 supported while there was one spoilt or neutral vote.

Earlier, Pengkalan Baharu ADUN, Datuk Abd Manaf Hashim, in a letter dated November 18, said Ahmad Faizal has the confidence of the majority of ADUNs.

For the record, it needs at least the support of 30 ADUNs for a motion to get a simple majority.

Perak has 59 ADUNs consisting of Barisan Nasional 25, Bersatu 5, Pas 3, DAP 16, PKR 3, Amanah 5, Gerakan 1 and Bebas 1.
